QUALIFICATION: (AS ON 01.07.2010)
Degree in any discipline from a recognized University OR Any equivalent qualification recognized by Central Government. Should be computer literate (Proficient in MS-office, basic applications, internet usage.etc)
Candidates who are appearing for Final year examination of Graduation are also eligible to apply provided they produce proof of having passed the Graduation examination on or before 01st July 2010. Candidature of such Candidates whose results are declared or have marksheet dated after 01.07.2010 would be rejected.
AGE: (As on 01.01.2010 ) Minimum: 21 Years, Maximum: 30 Years

Essential qualification and experience.
(i) Should not be more than 30 years of age.
Provided that the age limit may be relaxed by 5 years
in favour of a candidate who is in service of the
Gujarat Maritime Board/Government of Gujarat, in
accordance with the provisions of Gujarat Civil
Services Classification & Recruitment (General) Rules,
1967 as amended from time to time.
(ii) Candidate selected as engineer trainees and have
successfully completed probation in the field of
safety.
OR
Possess a diploma in any branch of Engineering
/Technology or a BSc degree in Physics or Chemistry
and has a practical experience of working in any
factories in a supervisory capacity for a period of not
less than three years.
